Non League Day 2016 this weekend!

Following another successful event last year, Non-League Day (NLD) will return for a seventh consecutive season this Saturday (3rd September 2016).

This is the 7th installment of non-league day

This will be the 7th installment of non-league day

Non-League Day was set up in 2010 as a social media experiment. It has now grown to become an annual part of the football calendar, backed by English Premier League and Football League clubs, MPs, celebrities, media organisations, charities and most importantly the non-league clubs themselves and the fans who turn up on the day.

Always scheduled to coincide with an international break, Non-League Day provides a platform for clubs to promote the importance of affordable volunteer led community football while giving fans across the country the chance to show support for their local non-league side.

For a third year,  Non League Day will be held in partnership with “Men United” (Prostate Cancer UK).

Berwick Rangers are fully in support of the cause and have even identified two games that may catch your eye this Saturday – one in Berwick and one if you fancy a trip! And if you’ve already made plans for Saturday we also have a Sunday backup fixture for you too!
