Murrell agrees terms

Berwick Rangers are delighted to confirm that the club will welcome back forward Aaron Murrell to Shielfield Park for the new campaign.

The striker, who donned the Black and Gold for the second half of last season after joining in a loan deal from Dundee United, has agreed a one-year deal which will see him join the club on a permanent basis.

Murrell netted the on three occasions for the ‘Gers and will be hoping to use the experience he gained to help recapture the scoring form that earned him a move to United in the first place, having netted 24 in 22 games as an 18 year old at Lowland League side Spartans.

The youngster, who also spent a brief period on loan with Cowdenbeath last season, featured in Saturday’s 0-0 draw and impressed manager John Coughlin before being forced off with a knock.
