The club are thrilled to make it ‘three in a row’ with tricky winger David Morris joining the club on a one year deal.

Morris had been invited to train with the ‘Gers during pre-season after excelling with Dalkeith Thistle among the Junior ranks over the past four seasons.

Thistle’s 2014/2015 Player’s Player of the Year and Top Goalscorer, who also has senior experience with the likes of Raith Rovers and East Fife had impressed playing as a trialist for the ‘Gers against both North Shields & another of his former clubs, Dunfermline.

And with his impressive application on the park and during pre-season training, manager Colin Cameron has clearly seen enough of Morris to make his move and secure the services of the pacey flanker.

The former Thistle man arrives at Shielfield Park with this former clubs’ best wishes, a statement on Dalkeith’s website reading:

“David picked up Dalkeith’s Players Player of the year award and Top Goalscorer for season 2014/15 so he’ll be sorely missed, however everyone at the club is delighted that his efforts have been recognized in this way.

We’re sure he’ll do very well at his new club, a great signing for the Berwick supporters – all the best Davie!”
