Mohammad loan extended
Berwick Rangers are delighted to confirm that talented young striker Rayan Mohammad will remain at MKM Shielfield Park until the end of the 2024/25 season, as his loan deal is extended.
Rayan joined the ‘Gers from parent club Dundee in November, and has made am immediate impact with his high intensity pressing, pace and physicality – as well as an eye for goal. He has already bagged one goal in black and gold, against Armadale Thistle in the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup, and will be hungry to add to this tally – starting with the match at Linlithgow Rose on Saturday!
Rayan has impressed new ‘Gers boss Kevin Haynes in recent training sessions and closed door friendlies, and the manager was quick to get to work to secure an extension for Rayan’s loan.
With Liam Buchanan and Arran Laidlaw returning to fitness recently, Berwick can now call upon an exciting array of attacking talent in the next run of fixtures. The next home game is on Saturday 1 February against East Stirlingshire, with another one following the weekend after against Gretna 2008.
Rayan Mohammad is sponsored by Globo Radio of Marjan Island, UAE, whom we thank for their continued support of the club. We would also like to extend our thanks to Dundee FC for their collaboration in bringing Rayan back to MKM Shielfield.
