McCrorie called up to European Under 21 Championship Qualifiers

Stopper Robby McCrorie’s outstanding start to the season has seen him recognised with a call-up to the Scotland Under 21 squad for the nation’s upcoming European Championship qualifiers.

McCrorie who of course is a Rangers player on loan to Berwick has had an impressive start to his time in Black and Gold with a multitude of show-stopping saves, excellent distribution and a confident, hard-working attitude. Most recently he has kept three clean sheets in the last four games.

Scotland’s U21 side has hit the headlines of late, having recorded notable victories over the youngsters Brazil and Netherlands.

The team, managed by Scot Gemmill, have a game in hand over leaders England in their group and currently sit in 2nd having won two of the three matches they’ve played to date.

McCrorie may get the chance to feature at McDiarmid Park, Perth against Latvia on Friday, November 10th or Ukraine on Tuesday, November 14th. Joining him in the squad is twin brother Ross who is also a Rangers player.
