McCormack Moves On

Berwick Rangers can confirm the release of defender Jamie McCormack.

The 32 year old, who joined the club at the start of the 2023/4 season, appeared 55 times in all competitions for Berwick, scoring 3 goals.

Jamie had indicated his wish to leave the club to pursue new challenges, and as conversations between Jamie and the club progressed in recent weeks, it became clear that Jamie was firm in the belief that his immediate future in football lay away from MKM Shielfield Park.

Although this outcome is not what we desired, Jamie leaves Berwick Rangers with the best wishes of all at the club, and his thanks for his efforts in black and gold across the past 2 seasons.

An announcement about the appointment of a new club captain will follow in due course.
