Johnny Harvey and the boys travel to Ainslie Park in Edinburgh tomorrow night for a re-arranged Ladbrokes League Two clash against high-flying Edinburgh City. The game kicks off at 7.45pm.
The ‘Gers travel buoyed by the late equaliser by Calum Adamson away at bottom club Albion Rovers at the weekend.
Due to the recent rise of Edinburgh City this will only be the 11th league encounter between the two sides. Berwick have two wins to date, one on the road and one at Shielfield. The most recent fixture between the sides in late December saw Berwick clinch a memorable 2-2 draw with the last kick of the game.
Calum Adamson will be looking for a start following his crucial goal at the weekend as well as the late consolation against Annan last Tuesday. Berwick will be looking to increase the gap from Albion Rovers and confirm their league status for the 2019/20 campaign.
James McDonaugh will be looking for a response from his side following a narrow defeat at fellow promotion rivals, Clyde, at the weekend. Edinburgh are assured of atleast a play-off place but will be looking for 3 points to keep the pressure on Clyde and Peterhead.
Leading scorer Blair Henderson has 24 league goals this season. The former Berwick striker has almost 50% more than anyone else in the division.
Loan signing from Celtic, Ciaran Diver, will be hoping for a start for .
Usual league prices apply for this game at Adults £12 and Concessions £6.
David Lowe is the ref for this one. He will be supported by Daniel McFarlane and Gordon McCabe.
We wish all our supporters a safe journey up to Edinburgh and hope that the boys can build on the positive result from the weekend. Come on the ‘Gers!
