Berwick will travel to Clyde today looking to bounce back from their first away defeat of the season to table-topping Forfar Athletic last weekend. There challenge will be made no easier by the fact they play Barry Ferguson’s men, who have enjoyed a good opening quarter to their season.

Kevin McKinlay is a doubt

Kevin McKinlay is a doubt for the game.

Berwick Rangers Team News:

With both wing-backs taken off injured in last weekend’s defeat, John Coughlin will be sweating over the fitness of Lee Hamilton and Kevin McKinlay going into this one.

One man who definitely won’t feature is Steven Notman who remains suspended. Better news for Coughlin is that he welcomes back an in-form Stephen Thomson, who has enjoyed a blistering start to his senior career.

Brian Martin will also be elgible, but will miss our next game with a one match ban.

Clyde Team News:

Despite a positive start, Clyde were trounced 4-0 by Arbroath last weekend and boss Ferguson has gone out of his way to try force a reaction from his team, adding to his squad with two loan additions in the form of Morton winger Scott Tiffoney and Queen’s Park midfielder Darren Miller.

Two men who won’t feature are Michael Oliver and Jamie Watson, who have both departed in loan deals to non-league teams.

The home side are perhaps unsuprisingly favourites to take 3 points in this one.
