Tomorrow the ‘Gers welcome third-placed Stenhousemuir to Shielfield Park for the final game of 2017.
The game will be subject to a 10:30am pitch inspection however with volunteers kindly helping to lay the covers this afternoon and temperatures due to stay above freezing it is hoped the game can beat the weather.
Berwick will be hoping to build on their recent home form with a 1-0 win over Stirling Albion last time out helping to build a three game unbeaten run at Shielfield. Meanwhile, opponents Stenhousemuir have been in fine form away from home with the visitors unbeaten in their last four away games: A run that stretches back to late October.
Despite this, Berwick manager Robbie Horn believes his team are more than up to the challenge “We are looking forward to the game and hoping it will be on. It’s a tough test against a good, experienced team but we have already shown we can compete with the best teams in the league”.
Horn will have plenty of options for his starting XI with no injuries or suspensions to report in the squad.
Admission for the game is priced at £12 and £7 with the ‘Gers hoping to end the year on a high. League sponsors Ladbrokes have Stenhousemuir as 5/6 favourites for the game with Berwick priced at 11/4.
Lastly, all supporters are welcome at The Red Lion, sponsor of BRFCTV, both before and after the match. The pub is located in the centre of town just a few minutes from the train station.
