Robbie Horn and the team will be looking to return to home comforts tomorrow as we welcome Peter Murphy and his Annan side to Shielfield Park for a 3pm kick off.

The ‘Gers are looking to immediately bounce back from the disappointing defeat at Cowdenbeath last weekend.

Robbie has commented this week that ‘goals change games and unfortunately we gifted Cowdenbeath two in three minutes, that ultimately changed the contest’. Horn also told the matchday programme that he is more determined than ever to get it right and feels positive after the recent boardroom changes.

Results between the two sides were mixed last season and Annan will arrive in confident mood after an unbeaten start to the league campaign.

Berwick News

Captain Robert Wilson is missing through suspension after his sending off at Cowdenbeath. Horn will need to decide who replaces him and takes the armband. Forwards Rose and Murrell will be hoping to start after coming off the bench last week.

There should be a good atmosphere at Shielfield with the successful side of the 99/2000 season in attendance.

Annan News

Currently joint top with 7 points from 9, the visitors are looking for a positive season and play-off push. Tommy Muir has 4 goals to his name in all competitions already in 2018/19. Muir was on target in the 3-1 victory over Queens Park last weekend, scoring one of four goals in a frantic start to the second half. Manager Murphy commented that his side were lucky to win after a disjointed performance.
