Match Preview: Arbroath v Berwick Rangers – SPFL League Two

After five succesive defeats, Berwick travel to Arbroath to take on a Smokies side who have also failed to win in five league games.

Berwick Rangers Team News:

It is much the same for Berwick for the midweek clash, with Kieran Ainslie still ruled out with a groin issue.

Long-term absentees Callum Helm & Euan Bauld remain sidelined.

After his senior debut on Saturday, Callum Crane is likely to retain his place on the left side of Berwick’s defence.

However with another vital game away at East Stirlingshire on Saturday, manager John Coughlin may be tempted to rotate his squad slightly to maintain fitness levels.
Arbroath Team News:The home side have been somewhat goalshy so far this season, having scored the joint-least goals (with Berwick) in the division thus far. However the ‘Gers will need to be aware of the threat the likes of Bobby Linn can pose, the Litchies winger having already netted seven goals this season.Former Hamilton Academicals striker Andy Ryan may make his second appearance as a trialist for the club, as Todd Lumsden continues to address his team’s lack of firepower.
