Match Preview: Annan Athletic v Berwick Rangers – SPFL Ladbrokes League Two

The ‘Gers travel to Annan today looking to begin to turn around poor form that has seen them sink as low as 8th. However, the ‘Gers maintain an awful record at Galabank, and in fact haven’t won a game there in the past 6 years.

A win could see the ‘Gers shoot up into 5th, though should results go the wrong way, the club could finish the day in 10th place.

Berwick Rangers Team News:

Robert Wilson remains sidelined with injury, whilst Greg Hurst is also likely to miss out again with a groin problem.

Jonny Fairbairn faces a fitness test after missing out last week, but John Coughlin will be pleased that his side are suspension free – a rarity for his team this season.

Coughlin has added to his team in recent weeks, signing both Samuel Perez & Pat Scullion in short term deals, and both will be keen to make an impression here.

The task of Coughlin’s men will be made no easier by the news that the Galabankies have added former Queen of the South man Gavin Skeleton to their ranks.

Skeleton may well feature for Annan, though international clearance must first be obtained for him to be elgible.
