Berwick Rangers can confirm that striker Liam Buchanan has been released from his contract, and has therefore left the club.

The 40 year-old joined Berwick in June 2022, and has ended his time at the club with a record of 60 goals from 107 appearances (89 starts). This included a season as the Lowland League’s top scorer in 2022/23, with 22 goals in that campaign. Now, with the 2026/7 season and the upcoming league restructure coming ever closer, the club continues to progress with its medium and long-term squad development, and it is with this in mind that we have made the difficult decision to make some changes to the playing squad.
