Lee Hamilton injury update

Medical staff were concerned about Hamilton after he sustained a heavy blow to the head during today’s game.

During today’s 2-0 home defeat to Arbroath, defender Lee Hamilton had to be stretchered off the pitch after taking a blow to the head.

Lee was then taken to a hospital upon arrival of an ambulance, where he underwent a CT scan to examine the injuries sustained from the collision.

The club are relieved to report that Lee is okay and has since been released from hospital (at around 8pm this evening).

First-team boss John Coughlin will meet up with the former Stirling Albion youngster at some point on Sunday.

The 21 year-old has been in impressive form on the right of Berwick’s eleven in recent weeks, with his midweek efforts at Edinburgh City earning him plaudits from fans who voted him the Social Media Man of the Match.

All at Berwick Rangers would like to wish Lee a speedy recovery from his injury.
