Horn adds fourth summer signing

Berwick Rangers are delighted to confirm the arrival of midfielder Jed Davie from Musselburgh Athletic.

22-year-old Davie, who is the third player to join the ‘Gers this summer from Musselburgh Athletic’s record-breaking squad, was a member of premiership side Livingston’s youth system before joining the East Lothian side. Last season he recorded five goals and four assists in 36 appearances.

Davie is ready to test himself in the SPFL and can’t wait to get started: “I’m really excited to be signing for Berwick rangers! It’s a great opportunity for myself to play at a higher level. I look forward to giving 100% for the club and hopefully I can contribute to the team and help us be successful this season.”

Manager Robbie Horn is full of praise for his latest signing: “Jed is another player from the successful Musselburgh Athletic squad. He has had a good grounding with being full time at Livingston before and can cover a number of positions. He’s comfortable with ball at his feet and can play right or left hand side. He’s also in the middle of the park and has got good energy levels. I think he’s a really good addition to the squad.”

Davie has already joined up with the squad at pre-season training, ahead of our opening game v Hibernian next Wednesday.
