The free-scoring Henderson picked up a colossal 82% of the votes, his double clearly helping him to stand out in a battling team performances.

Jonny Fairbairn and Robert Wilson’s efforts to keep things tight at the back saw them earn 6% of the voting each, the pair unlucky not to have kept a clean sheet with Montrose’s solitary goal coming from penalty spot.

The final 6% of voting went to another defender, this time Ewan McNeil, who continued his fine start to the season with another solid defensive performance and another assist from another sumptuous cross – the ball which helped put things on a plate for Henderson to net the winner.
