Greg Rutherford leaves club

Greg had asked to be released due to a new job, studying for a teachers qualification, on his  travelling and not being able to commit to training fully because of all aspects. He’s leaving on good terms and someone that we all got on with at Berwick and we wish him well.

Rutherford, formerly at Dover Athletic and Hartlepool United amongst others joined as a free agent in October 2016 scoring 10 goals by the end of the season including in the decisive home fixture against Edinburgh City in May.
