Good performance at Rugby Park

Berwick defeated Kilmarnock U 20 by 2-0 at Rugby Park on Tuesday (15 August) to progress to Round 2 of the Irn Bru Cup (draw Thursday 17 August at 1pm at the Falkirk Wheel and streamed live on SPFL Facebook Page)

This was a good solid performance by Berwick with first half goals from Steven Thomson and Michael McKenna. Three of our Development inward lads, Callum Donaldson/Kevin Waugh (Hibs) and Andy Irving (Hearts) were recalled under the Cup rules to play for their Premiership Colts teams but Robby McCrorie from Rangers was given clearance to play. Pat Scullion returned from injury and came on as a sub in the second half.
