‘Gers to travel to Kilmarnock in League Cup action
The draw for Round Two of the Scottish League Cup took place yesterday afternoon, with Berwick handed an away trip to Kilmarnock on the 25th or 26th of August.
The ‘Gers of course hosted their Premier League opposition during pre-season, in a fixture that saw Berwick unfortunate to lose 1-0 through a late Killie winner.
However the narrow loss may prove to not only provide knowledge of the opposition, but inspire confidence knowing that the team have kept it tight at the back before against the likes of Kris Boyd and co.
Berwick Rangers Travel Club have already registered an intention to run a bus for fans interested in attending the midweeker, with details to be confirmed shortly.
The ‘Gers reached Round Two following a sensational fight back against Alloa Athletic last weekend, coming from 2-0 down to run out 3-2 winners after extra time.
