‘Gers to host open training session for youngsters immediately following next Academy presentation!
The club will host another presentation for prospective Berwick Rangers FC Academy students on Wednesday 24th August, and are delighted to confirm that youngsters will get the opportunity to sample the coaching they’d receive on the Shielfield Park pitch immediately following the presentation.
First-team manager John Coughlin will be joined by his captain Jonny Fairbairn, and the pair will provide coaching sessions throughout the course will be on hand to guide youngsters through their paces and get a taster of what they can come to expect during the 6 hours training they’ll enjoy per week during the course’s duration.
The club will still host a presentation between 6-7pm in the JB Lounge at Shielfield Park, with next final hour seeing the players head out onto the first-team pitch to be put through their paces!
Parents of course are still more than welcomed to join us for the presentation and to watch on to understand what their children can expect throughout the NVQ Level Two Sport Diploma course, provided in association with the outstanding Northumberland College.
Also in attendance will be Berwick-upon-Tweed MP Anne-Marie Trevelyan, who will be showing her support for the project alongside a representative of Northumberland College who will deliver the initial presentation.
