‘Gers to host Alloa Athletic in League Cup

This afternoon saw Berwick handed a home draw for the First Round of the Scottish League Cup.

The draw which was conducted by the SPFL saw The ‘Gers drawn out third, with ball #9 following – meaning the ‘Gers will play host to Championship side Alloa Athletic.

The tie will almost certainly be played on Saturday 1st August at Shielfield Park and will provide a tough but competitive test ahead of the start of our League Two campaign.
