‘Gers to face Gretna FC 2008 in Scottish Cup

Berwick Rangers have been drawn against Lowland League rivals Gretna FC 2008 in the First Round of the Scottish Cup.

The tie is set to be played on the weekend of September 18-19, with full details on a date and kick-off time to follow.

The ‘Gers have already faced Gretna FC 2008 at home this season in Lowland League action on July 24.

That match finished 1-1, with Jack Cook’s headed opener just after the half hour mark cancelled out almost immediately by the visitors. The ‘Gers then had a hatful of second half opportunities, but couldn’t quite get the victory.
