‘Gers fans raise over £250 for Berwick RNLI

Berwick RNLI

The Berwick RNLI Crew!

Volunteers were on hand to collect for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (Berwick-upon-Tweed station) at Shielfield Park prior to our clash with Stirling Albion on Saturday, and the club are delighted to confirm that a total sum of £264.29 was donated by fans.

Fans dug deep for the RNLI, the chosen charity of Hazel Bettison who was the club’s guest for the match.

And the town’s Mayor has been in touch with the club to thank fans for their generosity!

“I’d like to place on record a huge thank you to all Berwick Rangers supporters, who on Saturday contributed over £250 to my chosen charity, Berwick RNLI.

“Thanks again for what was a brilliant day out – and a day made even better as by the three points!”
