Following the October half-term (which begins October 24th), applications to join the 16/17 programme will no longer be accepted and the course will run with only those who are already enrolled.

Given that the course has already been running since September for those who enrolled early, there are still many chances to learn more about the course. Those who are interested in enrolling prior to the deadline are more than welcome to join the current class for lectures and training sessions to help get a taste of what they can come to expect should they decide to submit an application.

Students will not only be able to enjoy highly-rated teaching from Northumberland College tutors, but also enjoy training sessions with Berwick Rangers club captain and team coach Jonny Fairbairn – as well as playing in the FA English College Leagues.

Those interested in learning more should contact the team’s coach Jonny Fairbairn on jonnyfairbairn10@gmail.com, or college tutor Simon Dutson on Simon.Dutson@northland.ac.uk.

The Academy enjoyed their first ever competitive win last week, running out 7-1 winners over Middlesbrough College in what was a fantastic team performance. Ryan Ruddick and Stuart Briggs showed their goalscoring prowess with a hat-trick each, whilst Jimmy Kantas rounded off the scoring.
