Fairbairn loaned to Tranent

Long serving defender Jonny Fairbairn has joined East Lothian club Tranent Juniors on a one month loan deal. Manager Robbie Horn felt it was important to get the former captain some game time: “It gives Jonny good playing time at a decent level over the next month and allows us to have him back here before the closure of all deals at any level on 31 March.”

Jonny is expected to go straight into the squad as they face Lochgelly in the Fife and Lothian cup, ironically replacing Jamie Todd who recently joined Berwick on a full transfer from Tranent.
