Congratulating ‘Gers!
The club would like to express their congratulations to Jonathan Craig and Jonny Fairbairn, who have both in the past week undertook UEFA B License coaching courses.
Goalkeeping coach Jonathan revealed he had hoped to complete his B License earlier in the week when talking to the official site, and has since received confirmation from the Scottish FA that he is now a qualified UEFA B level coach. Jonathan has already registered his interest in chasing a UEFA A Goalkeeping License following his achievement.
Craig yesterday took the time to discuss the arrival of former Hibs stopper Sean Brennan, who arrived on his recommendation after working with the youngster at Hibernian’s academy.
Club captain Jonny Fairbairn also travelled to St Andrews for 10 days, joining a host of internationally experienced professional footballers such as Charlie Adam, Noel Hunt, Chris Burke, Simon Cox and Mark Fotheringham as he also underwent his UEFA B License.
Of course, Fairbairn’s interest in coaching has been prominent during his time with the ‘Gers, helping out on numerous occasions with MGM Sports Coaching and the Community Foundation’s holiday camps – the next of which is coming from next week.
The club would also like to congratulate former Sports Therapist Jenna Orr on the birth of her child Jack, who arrived weighing 8lb 1oz.
