Annual General Meeting

Last night the club hosted its 64th Annual General Meeting at Shielfield Park. During the meeting, shareholders voted on 7 candidates for 5 available spaces on the board.

John Hush (middle left) stepped down following years of loyal service to the club

As a result of John Hush withdrawing his nomination for re-election to the board, there was space for one more than anticipated. Club ruling stated that a third of the board be up for re-election. Following club ruling, John Bell was drawn to be the next to be up for re-election.

Vice-Chair John was successfully re-elected to the club’s board, along with Alan Montgomery. Meanwhile, Doug Watkin was officially ratified as a Director following on from a spell as an Assosciate Director.

Elsewhere, both Eric Tait and John Lawrence were appointed to the board as new directors. Eric will be no stranger to ‘Gers fans as the club’s record scorer, appearance-maker and host of BRFC TV. John meanwhile is a director of RSK Group PLC and managing director of JB Site Investigations Ltd, a brand synonomous with Berwick Rangers.

Shareholders with questions on the process or who would like to contribute questions to the club’s board can do so by writing to the club at the following address:
