Fans will be able to get back home for Christmas earlier following the change of kick-off time.

The club can confirm that following confirmation from the SPFL, our clash with Annan Athletic at Galabank on Saturday 24th December will now kick-off at the slightly earlier time of 1pm.

The trip along through the Borders will be Berwick’s first of the season, and though historically the ‘Gers maintain a poor record when travelling to Annan, they will be looking to bring home 3 points.

Berwick will take heart from a 2-0 victory over the Galabankies earlier this season, which saw Berwick reduced to 10 men for over 40 minutes following a red card to captain Jonny Fairbairn.

Annan currently sit one position behind Berwick in 5th place, with the superior goal difference of the ‘Gers currently keeping John Coughlin’s men in the play-off spots.

Jim Chapman recently strengthened his side with the addition of Rangers defender Ryan Sinnamon on loan until January.
