Allan Walker departs
Berwick Rangers can confirm that midfielder Allan Walker has left the club this morning by mutual consent.
The 30 year-old joined the club on New Years Eve 2015 in an 18-month deal, though a number of injury problems would limit him to just 8 appearances in a Berwick top in the 15/16 campaign.
Walker has already bettered that figure having racked up five league and five cup appearances for the ‘Gers so far this season, but a limited amount of starts has seen the midfielder struggle for any extensive game-time.
His best moment in Black and Gold probably came against his former side East Fife on the final day of the previous campaign, where he set-up two goals to spoil the League Two champions’ title-party somewhat.
The former Brechin City, Raith Rovers and Livingston player will now be free to find another club.
