£1 from every home shirt to be donated to Northern Soul Kitchen.
As excitement for the new season starts to build, Berwick Rangers are delighted to announce further support for our home shirt sponsor for the 2018/19 season, Northern Soul Kitchen, Berwick.
The new collaborative community project, in which unsold, yet edible food from supermarkets, local shops and households are used to create affordable and balanced meals for all has just been launched locally.
The food is offered on a pay-as-you-feel basis meaning people can pay what they think the food is worth, donate whatever amount they can afford or even volunteer their time and skills to pay for a meal.
The new café, which launched on Saturday this week opened to the public yesterday, Wednesday 21st June 2018, is incredibly excited to be partnered with the ‘Gers for 2018/19 and we hope to bring as much awareness to a wonderful community project as possible.
Part of that partnership will involve £1 from EVERY home shirt that we sell for the season going to Northern Soul to assist their development. You can read more about Northern Soul Kitchen here.
This arrangement follows quickly on the heels of the first of a kind “Pound per Point“ fundraising campaign that we hope will inspire the team to excellent performances this term.
The home kit goes on sale this Saturday during the open training day and will be available in the club shop during the day. Please come down and treat yourself, whilst supporting a wonderful new Berwick based initiative in the process!
We look forward to seeing as many of you in the new strip as soon as possible as preparations for the 2018/19 season continue in earnest.
