Jamie Todd joins from Tranent Juniors
Berwick have agreed to bring in highly rated defender JAMIE TODD (23) from Tranent Juniors. The signing of the 6’2” centre back is subject to SFA approval of all paperwork. Berwick wish to place on record their thanks to Tranent Juniors FC for all their assistance in relation to Jamie coming to Berwick.
Robbie Horn commented:
“Jamie is a highly rated young defender that I’ve seen a few times now. Everyone keeps telling me that he is easily good enough for Senior football and now he’s got his chance. He’s hungry for it and wants to progress. He’s big, strong, quick, aggressive and can play the ball with feet. Once he gets settled in he will be a great addition to the squad”
Jamie added:
“I’d like to thank Berwick Rangers and the Manager Robbie Horn for giving me this opportunity to progress in my football career. It’s a step up for me and I know that I’ll need to work hard and keep trying to improve. I’m absolutely delighted and can’t wait to get started”
Tranent announced on their official Twitter feed:
“The club are gutted to announce the departure of Jamie Todd to Berwick Rangers The committee felt it right to let the big man go after he had made Max aware that he wanted to play at the highest possible level. We are all sad to see him go, however we wish him all the very best”
