John Coughlin Wins April 2016 SPFL League Two Manager of the Month

‘Gers boss John Coughlin has been awarded the SPFL Ladbrokes League Two Manager of the Month award.

Berwick have been in inspired form over the past three months, having recorded clean sheets in eight of their last eleven games.

And with the ‘Gers also firing at the other end courtesy of the likes of Blair Henderson and Darren Lavery, the SPFL have clearly been impressed with the turnaround in fortunes of the ‘Gers, awarding John with deserved recognition for a brilliant job.

The Drea, Team started April with a point which secured their league status in East Stirlingshire, before winning three in a row, disposing of promotion play-off side Clyde 3-0, beating Arbroath 2-1 courtesy of a last minute winner and seeing off League Two champions East Fife with a 2-0 victory, before ending the month and season with a 1-0 defeat in Montrose.
