All Fans Go Free In Arbroath Clash!
The club are delighted to confirm that as part of Berwick Rangers Supporters Trust‘s match sponsorship of our tie against Arbroath at Shielfield Park on the bank holiday weekend of Saturday 29th August, all supporters of both clubs will be welcomed into Shielfield Park free of charge.
The Supporters Trust have previous for this kind of match sponsorship, with our final game of 2013 seeing a bumper crowd of 773 watch eventual title-winners Peterhead overcome the ‘Gers 3-1.
Of the squad that day only Steven Notman, Darren Lavery and Jonny Fairbairn remain – the first of which is currently out injured and the last of which didn’t feature on the day.
So while the Dream Team will be looking for another successful day off the pitch in the form of another increased attendance, on the park it will be all change, with the new generation of Berwick players doing all they can to send those extra fans off home happy and with all three points.
Trust volunteers will be on the gates with donation buckets with spectators invited to make a donation which will be donated to Berwick Rangers, with the use going towards a Trust-backed project that will benefit the club.
Remember to pass the message on to a friend and make sure the ‘Gers are well-backed on the day!
