Blair MacDonald signs!

Berwick Rangers are delighted to welcome powerful and skilled striker Blair MacDonald to the club!

Blair is described by manager Martin Scott as ‘a striker with outstanding physical and technical qualities who will bring a different dimension to our attacking options.’ MacDonald has enjoyed successful spells at the likes of Fauldhouse United, where he was top scorer in the 2024/5 season, and Edinburgh United, where he enjoyed a promotion-winning campaign. Scott added, ‘Blair’s ability, presence and attributes will add another valuable element to our forward line.’

The manager continued, ‘Beyond his obvious ability on the pitch, Blair also brings strong leadership qualities, a fantastic attitude and an infectious enthusiasm. His desire to win and willingness to lead by example make him an excellent addition to the group.’ Scott valued the striker so highly that he was Gala Fairydean Rovers’ first addition in the summer transfer window in 2026, although Blair’s time at Netherdale was cut short due to personal reasons.

‘I’m thrilled to have him on board and looking forward to seeing the impact he can make in a Berwick Rangers shirt!’ finished Scott. Blair will go into the ‘Gers squad for tomorrow’s trip to University of Stirling, where he will hope to make an instant impact.

Welcome to the ‘Gers, Blair!
