Thanks to departing players

With the 2025/6 season now completed, the club can confirm that a number of players will be moving on from MKM Shielfield Park when their current contracts expire in June. These players are Jonny Devers, Blair Sneddon, Joe Ellison and Liam Campbell.

Jonny Devers has spent two seasons at Berwick Rangers, joining from Whitehill Welfare. In that time, the midfielder has made 61 appearances, including 33 starts. Last season, Jonny scored 1 goal and assisted 7 more in 24 total games.

Blair Sneddon appeared 78 times for Berwick across a number of spells with us – initially coming on loan from Falkirk all the way back in the 2022/23 season. Last year, Blair played 29 games in the ‘Gers defence – and scored his first goal for the club (a wonderful breakaway goal in a memorable win against Linlithgow Rose).

Joe Ellison appeared 55 times in total for the ‘Gers, scoring two goals. Like Blair, Joe initially joined on loan from St Johnstone in several spells, before becoming a permanent Berwick player at the start of this season. The young defender made 26 appearances in black and gold last season.

Finally, Liam Campbell leaves the club having made 31 appearances in goal last season, and putting in a number of excellent performances. Liam recovered from being knocked unconscious against Tranent in the second game of the season, and recorded clean sheets against Cowdenbeath, Hearts B, Tranent and University of Stirling.

Also departing the club at the end of their loan spells are Harry Wright (Stirling Albion), Caelan McCrone (Falkirk), and Kieran Moyles (Gala Fairydean Rovers).

On behalf of everyone at the club, we would like to thank all of these players for their contributions in a black and gold shirt. They have represented the club with skill, commitment and professionalism, and we wish all them the very best for the future. We hope they have enjoyed their time at the club.
