With Shielfield Rocks just over five weeks away now, locals are being encouraged to snap their tickets up quickly and join what looks to be an already healthy sized crowd at Shielfield Park as the club hosts its first ever music festival.

Taking place on Saturday 30th May, London-based Argy Bargy and the Midlands’ Dirt Box Disco co-headline the festival, the bands expected to bring with them a healthy following from their respective hometowns.

Tickets can be purchased via PayPal by sending your payment of £17 (£15 ticket, £2 P&P) to brfcsc98@yahoo.co.uk

If in-person purchasing suits you better, the ticket can be bought for £15 from Borderline Tattoos in Berwick and the Viking Tattoo Studio in Jarrow.

Entry will also be available on the day for the cost of £17 through the usual Shielfield Park turnstiles.

Opening from 2pm, the festival will continue into the night with a curfew of 11:30pm. A range of refreshments will be available on site for those looking to enhance their day inside a sunny Shielfield Park.
