Berwick’s under sevens to benefit from top-quality football training
A new football training programme for boys and girls aged under seven is coming to Berwick, thanks to the Berwick Rangers Community Foundation giving their support to The Gold and Gray Soccer Academy.
Gold and Gray was launched by ex-Berwick Rangers players, David Gold and Ross Gray in 2016, and runs training and coaching programmes with numerous clubs, mainly in south-east Scotland.
The Gold and Gray Soccer Academy will be running Monday evening classes for children aged four to six years-old, as well as working with older age groups already playing and training with Berwick Rangers Juniors or with Berwick Wildcats Girls’ football.
Taking place at the new Sports Centre 4G pitch, the sessions will provide a great foundation for budding young footballers, allowing them to learn best practice basics and prepare them for playing with Berwick Rangers Juniors or the Wildcats.
In addition, they plan to offer one-to-one and small group sessions, giving participants additional attention and coaching.
To celebrate the launch of this new Foundation-endorsed programme, bookings for the initial taster session are free and there are still a few places remaining.
Parents and carers can visit the Gold and Gray Soccer Academy website for more information or to make a booking:
