Jamie Stevenson

Jamie joined the ‘Gers in mid-May 2022. The experienced midfielder  has racked up over 300 senior appearances during his long career, which has seen him play with SPFL sides including Alloa Athletic, Greenock Morton, East Stirlingshire, Airdrie United, Cowdenbeath and Peterhead.

As well as a spell abroad at Mallorca B early in his career, Jamie also brings experience of our current league having enjoyed spells at Kelty Hearts and most recently East Kilbride. Before he departed the latter to join the ‘Gers, he signed off at The Kilby by helping them to a Lowland League Cup final win over Bo’ness United.

Most of Jamie’s career has been spent in midfield, but in more recent years he has demonstrated his versatility and has shown he is also well capable of playing in defence, where he has regularly featured as a full back.
