Duo step up for season 19/20

Two young players have made the transition from last season’s Reserves to sign professional contracts at Berwick Rangers.

Dan Purves and Gary Windram are looking forward to breaking into the First Team having enjoyed successful seasons on loan last year whilst turning out for Berwick in the SPFL Reserve League.

Dan, 19, picked up the Player of the Year Award whilst on loan to Ormiston, and Eyemouth based Gary, also 19, returned to his previous club Coldstream where he’s now clocked up over 70 appearances. 

Following the resignation of our coaching team from last season, Berwick will be taking a sabbatical from Reserve football for the next twelve months while we look to assemble the qualified volunteers needed to recruit, coach and support an additional Black and Gold squad beyond the First Team.
