New appointments to Board

Two new Directors have been appointed to the Board of Berwick Rangers subject to the necessary approval from the SFA: 

Sarah McMorn is Managing Director of Berwick based print, design and manufacturing company Fantasy Prints, becoming the owner and major shareholder in 2008 after having worked for the firm since the age of 16. She is also a Director and shareholder in a property company.
Sarah’s particular specialism on the Board is to look at all aspects of publicity, promotion and advertising, and brings excellent links with the business community both local and regionally. 

Colin Pike is a life-long fan of the Club, having previously held roles such as Secretary of the Supporters Club, Chair of the Supporters Trust, editor of the match programme and running the club shop.
Colin comes to the Board having made a very positive mark on local football as Chair of Duns and Tweedmouth Rangers and will be taking a lead in promoting hospitality, sponsorship and advertising opportunities to local businesses. 

Going forward, the Board will be supported by an Operations Group which will extend beyond the Directors to include several of the many volunteers who play a crucial role in staging matches at Shielfield, drawing on their expertise in Safety, Stewarding, Hospitality, Stadium Maintenance and other areas.

Some encouraging discussions have also taken place with Berwick Bandits with a view to better co-ordination of efforts to improve facilities at Shielfield Park to the benefit of both football and speedway fans.
