Board update

Two long-serving Directors of the Club have stepped down this week as change takes place on and off the field.

Len Eyre and Bill Parkin, with 10 and 12 years of service respectively, are retiring from the Board at the end of May 2019.

Len Eyre, appointed in 2009, has served as Club Chairman for the past three years and has contributed many hours ‘behind the scenes’ and represented the Club with distinction at the SFA and SPFL.

Supporters Club Chairman Bill Parkin was appointed in 2007, and has played a major role in ensuring that Shielfield Park continues to be able to host senior football as a safe and fit-for-purpose venue.

The Club would like to thank both of them for their dedicated service to keeping the Club a going concern.

A further announcement will be made later this week regarding new appointments to the Board, when essential formalities are completed.
