Match Preview : Berwick Rangers v Peterhead – Ladbrokes League Two
The ‘Gers return to Shielfield Park on Saturday 16th March for a home match against title chasing Peterhead FC.
This Ladbrokes League Two encounter kicks-off at 3pm. Jim McInally and his table toppers arrive in Berwick on the back of 6 consecutive wins, which have stabilised their place at the top of the table.
Home supporters will also have one eye on the score from bottom club Albion Rovers who are at home against Cowdenbeath at the same time, as the relegation battle has heated up over recent weeks.
Johnny Harvey and the boys will be looking to keep the gap as it is at the bottom.
History
The rivalry between these is relatively small in terms of previous matches. This will be the 24th league game between the two. Berwick have 3 victories to date. The Blue Toon have won the previous 3 meetings between the sides in the 2018/19 campaign.
Berwick News
Jordan Orru, Ouzy See, Dougie Brydon and Kyle Allison will all be sidelined for this one, Declan O’Kane will be serving the second game of his ban following last week’s red card.
Cameron Blues will be looking to add to his goal in the mid-week game against Queen’s Park.
Peterhead News
The Blue Toon won 2-1 at home against Annan last weekend and Manager Jim McInally remarked that it was their best display for a few weeks. Jamie Stevenson and Ryan Dow missed the game last Saturday through injury. They could return for this game.
Rory McAllister leads the scoring charts for the side with 14 goals. Shane Sutherland has notched 13 with Peterhead and Elgin in League Two this season.

Usual league prices apply for this fixture – £12 for adults and £8 for concessions. The side really need support at the moment and we hope to see as may of you at Shielfield as possible.
