Fleming departs

The club can tonight confirm that defender Oliver Fleming has joined St Andrews FC for an undisclosed fee.

Fleming joined the ‘Gers in July 2017 and went on to make 36 appearances in the Black & Gold. The youngster netted one goal during his time at the club.

Manager Robbie Horn explains Fleming’s departure: “Ollie was looking for guaranteed first team football but we just couldn’t give him that and a fee has been agreed with St Andrews to allow Ollie to be transferred. Ollie is still a young and developing centre half and has the attributes to be a good defender and knows what he has to work on. He is a great lad with a superb attitude and we wish him all the best for the future.”
