3 points secured against Stirling

A great all round performance yesterday saw Berwick take 3 points against second placed Stirling Albion although results elsewhere mean we remained 7th in Ladbrokes SPFL Division 2 albeit only 3 points off a play-off spot and with a game in hand on 6th placed Annan.

Michael McKenna struck the decisive goal in the seventh minute and Social Media and Sponsors man of the match Robby McCrorie made a number of outstanding saves to keep the Stirling attack at bay. Late in the game the spectators also got to enjoy a spectacular sunset to round off a great match.

Elsewhere in the league Montrose, who we face next week, were held by Clyde whilst Annan and Peterhead registered wins whilst bottom club Cowdenbeath’s match against Stenhousemuir was postponed due to frozen pitch.
