📝 Jack Cook loaned to Newtongrange Star

Cook will remain elgible to feature for the first-team during his loan spell as well as the Development Team.

Defender Jack Cook has joined Newtongrange Star in a deal which will see him play for the ‘Nitten’ until the end of the current campaign.

The Dunbar-based youngster only recently signed for the ‘Gers following a spell in the United States, and impressed first-team boss John Coughlin with his attitude since signing.

A regular for the club’s in-form Under 20 side since joining, the deal will also enable Cook to gain more senior experience.

As part of the deal, the 19 year-old centre half former Livingston youngster will remain eligible to feature in League Two action, Jack having featured on the Berwick bench in recent weeks. He can also feature for the Berwick Under 20 team in the Dev. League.
