📝| Double Dutch delight for ‘Gers!

Renne Donkor joins after a trial with the club.

The club are delighted to announce that Renne Donker and Ricardo Leao Kessells have both agreed professional terms with the club following successful trial periods.

Boss John Coughlin had agreed terms with the pair, who had both been training with the Glasgow-based Next Level Soccer Ltd some time last week.

The teenagers had agreed terms last week, however as the pair hail from Netherlands, the club had been waiting on international clearance from FIFA in order to be able to confirm the additions.

Centre-back Renne stands at 6ft 1′ and featured as a trialist in our Under 20’s most recent Development League clash. The 20-year old has also trained with SPFL League One side Livingston this season, and arrived in Scotland following a spell with Dutch side SV Nieuw Utrecht.

Ricardo Leao Kessells meanwhile joins from Wilhelmina ’08, a club based in Weert, a southern city in Netherlands. Though 6ft winger Ricardo does retain a Dutch passport, the 19 year-old was born in Sao Bernardo Do Campo, a state within Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The club would like to welcome the pair to Shielfield Park and look forward to seeing both of them don the Black & Gold.
