The full back may have been left disappointed along with the rest of the squad following the 4-1 defeat, but his 35 yard raker earned him the praise of fans as he became the first player to ever win the award with 100% of the voting.

The former Norwich City and Brechin man has contributed plenty going forward this season with numerous assists from out wide, but will be no doubt delighted to have opened his account for the ‘Gers.

Well done to Ewan and lets hope any sublime efforts such as the one that temporarily levelled things in Elgin at the weekend will contribute to a positive response from the Dream Team this weekend!
