We return to Shielfield Park tomorrow for the final outing of 2018/19 as the ‘Gers host table-topping Edinburgh City in league action. City currently sit five points clear at the top of SPFL2, however second placed Peterhead have a game in hand.
The visitors are enjoying their best ever season in the league, having already surpassed their previous best points total for a league campaign.
This will be the 10th league encounter between the two clubs since City were promoted to the SPFL in 2016. The Edinburgh side have had the upper hand so far, which Harvey and the team will be looking to correct:
Berwick Rangers: 2
Edinburgh City: 4
The team news for the ‘Gers is almost the same as last week, with Daryl Healy, Sean Murphy, Paul Willis all out until the new year. One plyer returning is Striker Ouzy See, who is expected to return to the matchday squad for the first time this season.
Edinburgh City News
Edinburgh’s squad contains a number of ex-Berwick players including Daniel Handling, Keiran Stewart and Blair Henderson. The latter will provide a difficult afternoon for the ‘Gers, having netted 25 goals during 2018/19.
League sponsors Ladbrokes have this one as follows:
Usual league prices (£12 for adults and £6 for concessions) will apply for admission at Annan on Saturday.
Johnny and the Squad will be looking to end the year on a high and look forward to welcoming supporters to Shielfield over the festive period.
