James Farrell

James arrived at Shielfield Park in late June 2022 having departed an FC Edinburgh side he had been with since the age of 7. A versatile defensive-minded player, Farrell broke into the then Edinburgh City setup in late 2021, winning his first pro contract and going on to make 14 appearances during a season in which his side would go on to earn promotion to SPFL League One.

Capable of playing right back, centre back and defensive midfield, James adds versatility to the squad and manager Stuart Malcolm will work closely with the youngster to help bring on his game.
