Reserve squad changes

With the SPFL Reserve League Two campaign well under way, the coaching staff have been hard at work improving the Reserve squad and securing loan deals for a number of players.

Firstly, midfielder David Brown has joined the club and is expected to go straight into the squad for tomorrow night’s trip to Hampden and Queen’s Park. The 18-year-old arrives after a spell at Lowland League side Gala Fairydean Rovers last season.

Kieran Jack and Ben Rolland have both agreed new loan deals. The loans allow the players to play for the ‘Gers Reserves during the week as well as with their loan clubs at the weekend. Jack has joined East of Scotland side Preston Athletic whilst Rolland joins Kennoway Star Hearts, who play in the SJFA East Region Super League.

Lastly, Jordan Purves and Rhys Bloomfield have both left the club via mutual consent. The club would like to thank them for their efforts and wish them well for the future.
